Reuters reports that a radiocarbon dated 35,000 year old carving of a sexually suggestive female figure was recently discovered near the Danube Valley in Germany. This voluptuous specimen predates the oldest previous examples by 5,000 years, and thus, must be the earliest known folk art carving of the human form.
