On a bluff overlooking Lake Champlain near Shelburne in western Vermont is a vast museum with 150,ooo works exhibited in 39 different buildings. There is nothing quite like it. You need to check this out sometime over the summer. On display in 2009 is a wonderful collection of Tiffany lamps, jewelry, and furniture, as well as vintage motorcycles and folk art quilts by Florence Peto. Come see the famous round barn and the steam boat Ticonderoga at the Shelburne Museum soon.
