Now showing thru 5 JUNE 2011: Equal in Goodness: Ohio Decorative Arts 1788-1860. This is a superbly curated collection in a majestic mansion in Lancaster, Ohio. It is equal to any Americana collection anywhere in the world. All categories are represented, every object is Ohioan, and the best of its kind. I see a lot of truly fine decorative art objects in private collections and I routinely peruse public collections from around the world (see), so believe me when I exclaim the validity of importance represented here as accumulated just for this professional display. Kudos to Kent Anderson of P4A, Curator Andrew Richmond and the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio. The Ohio Forum that Andrew saw to fruition at The Center was excellent in every respect.
