Salute! Happy 236th birthday USMC! I love The Corps and I proudly display in my office a framed Honorary Leatherneck Citation awarded to me in 1984 when I was a young American Army Officer stationed at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. I commanded a platoon of 105 Marines for a month as part of my OBC training. The only thing that I regretted then, and especially now as an old man, is that I wasn’t actually a Marine. …Perhaps in my next incarnation, I hope. Salute!
