1st Edition. Blue cloth boards with blind stamped “Faberge” and bright gilt titling on spine and cover, decorated blue endpapers with gold crowns. Book is Fine with no flaws. Bright gold and dark blue DJ is also Near Fine, with only minor scuffing and wear to edges. It’s not just eggs – animals, flowers, jewelry, photo frames, etc. etc. 160 pp. and color photographs throughout. Essays cover Faberge’s workshop, artisans, court patronage and more; with information about the collection itself, a glossary of Faberge’s materials and techniques and a catalogue of 328 items with countless pictures.
