SKU-0473:: =RARE=
1860s Corner Shelf or etagere, or plant shelf, with an Alabama origin, pinewood, both carved and shaped as well as painted overall in what is now a faded pattern in lamp-wick black, and it has telltale wet mop slop marks on tripod feet typical of the Old South. Original dry patina.
Dimensions: 72½”H 23”D with 16” sides. It doesn’t weigh much, maybe 12-15 lbs, but it’s bulky, so it’ll require a large box. I bought this at the Heart of Country Show, Nashville, TN, in 1987. My wife keeps her African violets and orchids on it.
