Compote monumental, ca.1835, Gaudy Welch, molded porcelain, rolled round rim cants inward on descent to a low waist supported by a narrow pedestal terminating in a collet foot fitted to a square base, four applied cobalt blue figural faces at the waist, hand-painted rust red and navy florals overall on a white field, white interior, gilt accent beads, slight wear overall consistent with its age and usage.
