SKU1990:: Flatware Storage Sleeve BROWN flannel cloth: about 11.5″H 17.5″W. Circa 1940s. With 6 big 4.5″H by 2.3″W pockets, over-flaps left and upper. Maker’s mark: “Pacific Silver Cloth reg. US. pat. off, Prevents Silver Tarnish”.

Silversmiths’ cloth flatware storage sleeves to help mitigate tarnishing of your polished sterling and silver-plate flatware and hollowware pieces from tarnishing. It helps in the neutralizing airborne sulphur (the cause of tarnish) for years. I have a boxful of these things in all colors, shapes, sizes, and capacities. Most are made from 100% double napped tarnish resistant flannel cotton. Most have a maker’s name, which I have provided a pic of, respectively.
