Some Kind of Good: The Picker Series
Some Kind of Good is a literary occupational novel that reads like PBS’s Doc Martin series, or All Creatures Great and Small. It is based on real-world in-the-trenches experiences common to antiques dealers, collectors, and very eccentric connoisseurs. Some Kind of Good is the second title in the Picker Series. Once again Charles and Emma venture from Barboursville, Virginia in pursuit of sleepers with design merit. They travel to London and Paris. As always, their mission is to travel comfortably, eat well, pick low, and sell high. If you like to watch public television’s Antiques Roadshow, you’ll probably find the Picker Series, some kind of good.
