2. Stand: circa 1840-1870, Hepplewhite ‘style’, pegged mortise-and tenon construction, overhanging square top supported on four square tapered splayed legs, rests on leg terminals, old refinish. When the term ‘style’ is used, it means that it is not a period piece. The actual Hepplewhite Period is ca.1780-1810.
DIMENSIONS: 23″H 20″W 17.5″D
Shipping: This one ain’t gunna be easy, obviously, so do please be patient and reasonable, Old Chap. My off-the-cuff strategy, is: each stack and the stand ships separately in four(4) separate cardboard boxes so they can go via FEDEX or UPS, whichever is cheaper. Insurance is required. No worries necessary. I pack very well. At this point I have no idea as to the cost or weight. These drawers are housing my 99 year-old dad’s postcards collection, which I have listed for sale on this website and on eBay, card-by-card. So, to estimate cost is going to be a BIG deal. You’re going to have to really want this and shipping cost needs to be irrelevant in the decision making.
